Program Mission
​
The mission of the Station Camp Middle School Guidance Department is to provide all students equal access to high quality, comprehensive school counseling services that will support them in developing academically, socially, and emotionally so that they may achieve maximum personal success. 
Program Vision
The vision of the Station Camp Middle school counseling program is for all students to be fully equipped academically, socially, and emotionally so that they may achieve personal and academic success in high school, college and career and become productive, responsible citizens and lifelong learners.

Role of a school counselor
The role of a school counselor is to work to provide all students the best possible tools, resources, supports and opportunities that will enable them to to learn, grow, develop, and succeed in school and beyond. Counselors collaborate with all stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure students' academic development, social and emotional development, and college and career readiness. Counselors evaluate and analyze data to ensure program effectiveness and make adjustments where necessary.
