Get a good night’s sleep. Eat a high protein breakfast and drink plenty of water. Arrive to the test a little early and take a minute to relax. Ignore students who finish the test before you—research shows that students who finish early don’t score as well. Read the directions carefully. Read all answer choices before choosing an answer. Eliminate the ones that you know are incorrect. Go back to the questions that you were unsure of. If there are only a few minutes left, go back and answer the questions that you have not yet answered. It is best to answer all questions (even if you guess) then to leave some blank. If you finish early, review your work. |
